Miles Prince is a British Ghanaian writer whose work explores race, power, inequality, and the lives lived on society’s edges.
Born in Bournemouth and raised between Accra and London, Prince draws on his diasporic heritage to craft stories that blend street-level realism with emotional and political depth. Before turning to writing, he spent 25 years in the UK finance sector, rising to success as a fund manager.
After giving up alcohol in 2019, Prince began writing seriously, using fiction to unpack his experiences of trauma, resilience, and his insider’s understanding of the global economy.
Peckham Rye is his debut novel — the first in a planned series featuring Joseph Wright — and marks the arrival of a powerful new voice in British literature.
